Snowflake Query Tagging support in DPC

Who this is for

Users who wish to attribute their Snowflake credit spend to a DPC account, particular department, Matillion environment or individual pipeline - when the query has been executed by Matillion Data Productivity Cloud.

What will it unlock

The ability to use Snowflake Queries to identify exactly which queries generated by Matillion DPC have driven Snowflake Credit Spend - allowing breakdown by:

• Matillion hub account
• Project
• Environment
• Pipeline
• Custom tags (e.g. department name)

This allows identification of exactly how much Snowflake credit spend has been driven by Matillion DPC, while allowing allowing further breakdown by the user’s needs.

What is it

Support for adding Snowflake Query Tags ([https://select.dev/posts/snowflake-query-tags|https://select.dev/posts/snowflake-query-tags|smart-link] ) to the SQL executed executed by Matillion Data Productivity Cloud at the session level.
